Features and details

Now that the first three stands are in production, I thought I would show a few details of how the design appears in reality. Here are the neck support and the foot of the back leg. In both pictures you can see the lovely effect of the timber grain and figure coming out. In this case the timber is Ash and the board that I have cut components from has a pleasing colouration of its heart wood. On its own this coloured Ash is often refered to as "Olive Ash" and from these pictures you can see why. This stand is complete bar the attachment of the cork cushions which will give a soft landing for the key parts of the guitar (body and neck)
